MUHAMMAD.',

“ There is no God but God, and Muhammad is the

messenger of God." “Cry !” said the spirit voice. “What shall I cry? I know not what to cry.” The voice replied : “Cry,, In the name of God, most true, most high, There is no God but God, and none beside ; There is none like to him, no single one To share the glory of the heavenly throne; He has no partner, no associate, no son, But lives and reigns for evermore alone. Worship false gods no more, but fear the true,

That judge most merciful and yet most stern,
Who will award to every man his due
On the great day when all to him return."
MUHAMMAD raised this war cry in the world,
And thus the standard of his faith unfurled,
