Cities are tiresomely tenevolent in
their attempt to better social life in

the country. The country is splen-
djály capable of organizing its own
social life, not by those who go out
from cities, but by youn? men and
women, such as these who go home,
wholesome, high-minded and healthy
young Americans, not as missionar-
ies, but as democratic enthusiasts,
capable of managing their own af-
fairs. The country is able to take
care of itself.
PRESIDENT GEORGE E. VINCENT,
of the l'niversity of Minnesota.

Devoted to the County Work of the Young Men's Christian

Associations in Village, Town and Open Country
