About one-half of each number is devoted to Reviews. Books and articles appearing in other scientific journals which represent important advances or discoveries in science, are carefully reviewed so as to be interesting to the general reader. This department is of special value to the science teacher who wishes to keep abreast of important scientific discoveries, but who has neither the time nor the opportunity to refer to the technical scientific periodicals.
