A 22-year career professional and former human resources executive at Dell, Amy Baker is now a dynamic professional speaker and writer. She has written for the Austin American-Statesman newspaper, the Austin Business Journal, the Cornell HR Journal, and Good Life Austin magazine. Her communications consulting practice is called Logos Strategies. Amy speaks and provides training to a variety of groups, organizations, and businesses on topics from practical professional development to inspiration. She has also been an advertising training manager for the University of Texas, state youth program coordinator for Texansrsquo; War on Drugs, and director of communications for the Texas Apartment Association. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University. Amyrsquo;s speaking engagements have taken her to audiences as diverse as the National PTA Convention, the American Marketing Association, the University of Southern California (as a guest lecturer), national conventions, and church groups. She also has experience in TV and radio. She and her husband have been married 17 years and have two children.
