Deus, fortitudo fragilium et humilium celsitudo, qui famulum tuum Alphonsum jugi mortificationis studio, et eximia humilitatis laude clarescere voluisti; da, ut ejus imitatione carne mortificati, et in humili crucis Filii tui sequela fideliter perseverantes gloriam consequamur æternam. Qui tecum, &c.

O God, the strength of the weak, and the loftiness of the lowly, who wast pleased to adorn thy servant Alphonsus with the practice of continual mortification, and the praise of a marvellous humility, grant us so to follow the example of his mortification of the flesh, and to persevere in the humble following of the cross, that we may attain to eternal glory. Who with thee, &c.

O God, who among the many marvellous examples of thy wisdom, hast given, even in a tender age, the grace of matured sanctity; grant, we beseech thee, that, redeeming the time after the example of blessed Stanislaus, by being instant in good works, we may hasten to enter into eternal rest. Through our Lord, &c. Amen.
