CHAP. XVII.

14 For it is the life of all fiefh,the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I iaid unto the children of Ifrael. Ye fhall eat the blood of no manner of fiefh: for the life of all fleth is the blood thereof: whofoever eateth it, fhall be cut off.

5 To the end that the children of Ifraet may bring their facrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation unto the pricft, and offer them for peace-offerings unto the LORD.

6 And the prieft shall fprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a fweet favour unto the LORD.

7 And they fhall no more offer their facrifices unto devils, afrer whom they have gone a whoring: This fhall be a ftatute for ever unto them throughout their gene

8 And thou fhalt fay unto them, Whatfoever man there be of the houfe of Ifrael, or of the ftrangers which fojourn among you, that offereth a burnt-offering, or facrifice,

10 ¶ And whatsoever man there be of the house of Ifrael, or of the strangers that fojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood: I will even fet my face against that foul that eateth blood and will cut him off from among his people.

11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the attar, to make an atonement for your fouls; for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the foul.

Nd the Lord ipake unto Mofes,faying, A 2 Speak unto the children of Israel,& fay unto them, I am the LORD your God. 3 After the doings of the land of Egypt wherein ye dwelt, thall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Cannan, whither I bring you, fhall ye not co: neither thall ye walk in their ordinances.

4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

5 Ye fhall therefore keep my ftatutes and my judgments: which if a man do, he fhall live in them: I am the LORD.

6 None of you thall approach to any that is near a kin to him to uncov er their nakedneis: I am the LORD.

7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakednels (of thy mother, fhalt thou not uncover the is thy mother, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

8 The nakedness of thy fathers wife fhalt thou not uncover it is thy fathers nakedness.

9 The nakedness of thy filter, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou thalt not uncover.

11 The nakedness of thy fathers wifes daughter, begotten of thy father, (fhe is thy filter) thou fhalt not uncover her nak edness.

23 Neither halt thou lie with any beaft to defile thy felf therewith: neither hall any woman ftand before a beaft to lie down thereto : it is confusion.

14 Defile not you your felves in any of thefe things: for in all thefe the nations are defiled which I caft out before you.

25. And the land is defi ed: therefore I do viut the iniquity thereof upon it, and iand it felf vomiteth out her inhabitants. 16 Ye hall therefore keep my ftatutes and my judgments; and fhall not commit any of thefe abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any ftranger that fojourneth among you:

27(For all thefe abominations have the meu of the land done, which were before you and the land is defiled)

18 That the land fpue not you out alfo, when ye defile it, as it fpued out the nations that were before you.

29 For whofoever shall commit any of thefe abominations, even the fouls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 Therefore fhall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of thefe abominable cuftoms, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not your felves therein: I am the LORD your God. CHAP. XIX.

A Ndy LORD fpake unto Moles, faying, 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

3 Ye fhall fear every man his mother and his father, and keep my fabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to your felves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

5. And if ye offer a facrifice of peaceoffrings unto the LORD, ye thall offer it

at your own will.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired, fhall not abide with thee all night untill the morning.

14 Thou shalt not curfe the deaf, nor put a tumbling block before the blind, but halt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

15 Ye thall do no unrighteoufnefs in judgment thou shalt not refpect the perfon of the poor, nor honour the per fon of the mighty but in righteoufnefs fhalt thou judge thy negihbour

16 Thou thalt not go up and down as a tale bearer among thy people; neither fhalt thou itand againit the blood of thy negihbour: I am the LORD.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart; thou shalt in any wife rebuke thy neighbour, and, not fuffer (in upon him.

18 Thou halt not avenge, not bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou thalt love thy neighbour as thy felf: I am the LORD.

33 And if a stranger fojourn with thee in your land, ye fhall not vex him.

34 But the ftranger that dwelleth with you, fhall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thy felf for ye were ftrangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them fhall furely be put to death: they have wrought confufion; their blood shall be upon them.

13 If a man alfo lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have commited an abomination: they thall furely be put to death: their blood shall be upon them.

14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they fhall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickednels among you.

15 And if a man lie with a beaft, he shall furely be put to death and ye shall flay the beaft.

25 Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beafts and unclean; and between unclean fowls and clean; and ye shall not make your fouls abominable by beaft or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on ground, which I have feparated from you as unclean. 26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have fevered you from other people, that ye should be mine. 27 A man alfo or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall furely be put to death: they shall stone them with ftones, their blood shall be upon them. Nd the LORD faid unto Mofes, Speak A unto the priests the fons of Aaron,and fay unto them, there shall none be defiled for the dead among his people.

2 But for his kin,that is near uuto him, that is; for his mother, and for his father, and for his fon and for his daughter, & for his brother.

3 And for his fifter a virgin, that is nigh unto him which hath had no husband: for her may he be defiled.

4 But he thall not defile himself, being

14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, thefe fhall he not take: but he hall take a virgin of his own people to wife.

15 Neither fhall he profane his feed among his people: for I the LORD do fanctifie him.

15 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

17 Speak unto Aaron, faying, Whofoever be be of thy feed in their generations, that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God:

18 For whatfoever man be be that hath a blemish, he fhall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nofe, or any thing fuperfluous,

19 Or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,

20 Or crook-backt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be fcurvy, or fcabbed, or hath his ftones broken:

21 No man that hath a blemish, of the feed of Aaron the pricft fhall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire; he hath a blemish, he fhall not come nigh fo offer the bread of his God.

22 He thall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, becaufe he hath a blemish that he profane not my fanétuaries: for I the LORD do fanctifie them.

24 And Mofes told it unto Aaron, and a cheif man among his people; to profane to his fons, and unto all the children of 1fhimself.

9 They hall therefore keep mine ordinance, left they bear fin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do fanctifie them.

10 There shall no ftranger eat of the holy thing: a fojourner of the pricft, or an hired fervant fhall not eat of y holy thing. But if the priest buy any foul with his money, he thall eat of it, and he that is born in his houfe: they fhall eat of his.

15 And they fhall not profane the holy things of the children of Ifrael, which they offer unto the LORD:

20 But whatfover hath a blemish, that fhall ye not offer: for it fhall not be acceptable for you.

21 And whofoever offereth a facrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, to accomplifh bis vow, or a free-will-offering in beeves, or fheep, it fhall be perfect, to be accepted, there shall be no blemish therein. 22 Blind, or broken or maimed, or having a wen, or fcurvy, or feabbed, ye hall not offer thefe unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.

23 Either a bullock,or a lamb y hath any thing fuperfluous or lacking in his parts, that inayeft thou offer for a free-will-offering: but for a vow it fhall not be accepted. 24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD y which is brunted, or crushed, or broken,or Cut; neither thail you make any offering thereof in your land.

25 Neither from a ftrangers hand fhall ye offer the bread of your God of any of

27 When a bullock, or a fheep or a goat is brought forth, then it fhall be feven days under the dam; and from the eight day & thenceforth, it fhall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

28 And whether it be cow, or ew, ye fhalt not kill it and her young both in one day. 29 And when ye will offer a facrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will,

30 On the fame day it fhall be eaten up, ye fhall leave none of it until the morrow: am the LORD.

31 Therefore shall ye keep my com mandments, and do them: I am the LORD, 32 Neither hall ye profane my holy Name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Ifrael: I am the LORD which hallow you;

33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the LORD. CHAP XXIII. 4 Of Sundry feafls.16The day of atonement. A 2 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and ay unto them, Concerning the feafts of y LORD, which ye fhall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feafts.

3 Six days fhall work be done, but the feventh day is the fabbath of rett, an holy convocation; ye fhall do no work therein; it is the fabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

41 Thefe are the feats of the LORD, even boly convocations, which ye thall proclaim in their feafons

5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even, is the LORDS paffover.

6 And on the fifteenth day of the fame month, is the feat of unleavened bread unto the LORD: feven days ye muit eat unleavened bread.

7 In the first day he fhall have an hoiy convocation: ye fhall do no fervile work therein.

8 But ye fhall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD feven days: in the feventh day is an holy convocation, ye fhall do no fervile work therein.

9 And the LORD spake unto Mofes faying,

10 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and fhall rap the harveft thereof, then ye shall bring a fheaf of the first-fruits of your harveit unto the priest.

And he fhail wave the fheaf before LORD, to be accepted for you; on y inorrow after the fabbath y prieit hall wave it.

12 And ye fhall offer that day when ye wave the heat, an he-lamb without blemih, of the first year; for a burnt.offering unto the LORD.

13 And the meat-offering thereof shall be two tenth dales of fine flower mingled
