Of the flocks.

ing, and covered the ark of the testimony; ; washed their hands and their feet thereas the LORD commanded Mofes.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the fide of the tabernacle north-ward, without the vail. 23 And he fet the bread in order upon it, before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moles.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on fide of tabernacle fouth-ward. 25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Mofes. 26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation, before the vail. And he burnt fweet incenfe thereon as the LORD commanded Mofes.

28 And he fet up the hanging, at the door of the tabernacle.

29 And he put altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt-offering, and the meat-offering; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

30 And he fet the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash witbal. 31 And Mofes, and Aaron, and his fons,

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed as the LORD commanded Mofes,

33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and fet up the hanging of the court-gate: fo Mofes finished the work.

24 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle."

35 And Mofes was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Ifrael went onward in all their journeys.

27 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not, till the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the fight of all the houfe of Ifrael, throughout all their journeys.. MOSES, called Leviticus.

CHAP. I. The burnt-offerings. 3 of the berd, to of the flocks, 14 of the fools.

ND the LORD called unto Mofes, and fpake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, faying,

2 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye thall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

3 If bis offering be a burnt-facrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish he thall offer it of his own voluntary will, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

4 And he fhall put his hand upon head of the burnt-offering: and it shall be accepted for him to make attonment for him.

And he fhall kill the bullock before the LORD, and the priests Aarons fons fhall bring the blood, and fprinkle the blood round about upon the altar, that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

6 And he fhall flay the burnt-offering and cut it into his pieces.

7 And the fons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire.

8 And the priests Aarons fons fhall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.

9 But his inwards and his legs fhall he wath in water: and the priest fhall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt-facrifice,an offering made by fire, of a fweet favour unto the LORD.

To And if his offering be of the flocks, namely of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-facrifice, he fhall bring it a male without blemish.

11 And he fhall kill it on the fide of the altar north-ward before the LORD: and the priests Aarons fons thall fprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

12 And he thall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat and the prielt thall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.

13 But he fhall wash the inwards, and the legs with water and the priest fhall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar : it is a burnt-facrifice, an offering made by fire, of a fweet favour unto the LORD.

14. And if the burnt-facrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he thall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.

15 And the pricft fhall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar: and the blood thereof fhall be wrung out at the fide of the altar.

16 And he fhall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and caft it befide the altar on the east-part, by the place of the afhes.

17 And he fhall cleave it with the wings thereof, but fhall not divide it afunder: and the priest hall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire; it is a burnt facrifice, an offering made by fire, of a fweet favour unto thy LORD.

CHAP. II.

1 The meat offering of flour, with oyl and incenfe. 12 And of the firft-fruits in the year. 13 The Salt of the meat-offering. Nd when anywill offer a meat offering Aunto the LORD, his offering fhall be of

Chap. iii, fine flour; and 'he fhall pour oyl upon it, and put frankincenfe thereon.

2 And he fhall bring it to Aarons fons the priefts: and he fhall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oyl thereof, with all the frankincenfe thereof, and the priest fhall burn the memorial of it upon the altar to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet favour unto the LORD.

And the remnant of the meat-offering, fhall be Aarons and his fons: it is a thing moft holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

4 And if thou bring an oblation of meat-offering baken in the oven: it fall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oyl, or unleavened wafers anointed with oyl

And if thy oblation be a meat-offering baken in a pan, it fhall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oyl.

6 Thou fhalt part it in pieces, and pour oyl thereon: it is a meat- offering.

And if thy oblation be a meat-offering baken in the frying-pan, it fhall be made of fine flour with oyl.

8 And thou shalt bring the meat-offering that is made of thefe things, unto the LORD; and when it is prefented unto the prieft, he fhall bring it unto the altar.

9 And the prieft fhall take from the meat-offering a memorial thereof, and fhall burn it upon altar: it is an offering made by fire of a fweet favour unto the LORD: o And that which is left of the meatoffering, fhall be Aarons and his fons: it is a thing molt holy, of the offerings of the LORD made by hire.

No meat-offering, ye thall bring unto the LORD,fhall be made with leaven: for ye fhall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire. 12 As for oblation of the firit-fruits, ye hall offer them unto the LORD, but they hall not be burnt on the altar for a fweet favour,

13 And every oblarion of thy meat-offering thalt thou feafon with falt: neither fhalt thou fuffer the falt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meatoffering with all thine offerings thou fhalt offer falt.

14 And if thou offer a meat-offering of thy firft-fruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for meat-offering of thy firft-fruits, green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.

15 And thou fhalt put oyl upon it, and lay frankincenfe thereon: it is a meatoffering.

16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oyl thereof, with all the frankincenfe thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

CHAP. III. The peace-offering of the herd. 6 of the flock 7 either a lamb, 12 or a goat.

whether it be a male or female; he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD. 2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aarons fons the priests, shall fprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3 And he shall offer of the facrifice of the peace offering, an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat y is upon the inwards.

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

5 And Aarons fons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-facrifice,which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire of a fweet favour unto the LORD.

6And if his offering for a facrifice of peace-offering unto the LORD, be of the flock, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then fhall he offer it before the LORD.

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation and Aarons fons shall fprinkle the blood thereof, round about upon the altar.

9 And he shall offer of the facrifice of the peace offering, an offering made by fire unto the LORD: the fat thereof and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the back-bone, and the fat that cover eth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

10 And the two kidneys and the fat that it upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys. it shall he take away.

11 And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.

12 And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the fons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards.

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them; which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet favour. All the fat is the LORD'S.

17 It shall be a perpetual ftatute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither far nor bloud, CHAP IV.

3. If the priest that is anointed, do fin according to the fin of the people: then let him bring for his in which he hath finned, a young bullock without blemish, unto the LORD for a lin-offering.

4 And he fhall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congre gation before the LORD; and fhall lay his hand upon the bullocks head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.

5 And the priest that is anointed, shall take of the bullocks blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation.

And the priest fhall dip his finger in the blood, and fprinkle of the blood feven times before the LORD, before the vail of the fanctuary.

7 And the priest fhall put fome of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and fhall pour all the blood of the bullock at the Bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And he thall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the in-offering the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards.

9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it fhall he take away.

10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the facrifice of peace-offerings: and the Priest fhall burn item upon the altar of the burnt offering.

TT And the skin of the bullock, and all his fleih, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

12 Even whole bullock thall he carry forth without the camp, unto a clean place, where the afhes are poured out, and burn. him on the wood with fire; where the afhes are poured out, fhall he be burnt.

13 And if the whole congregation of Alrael in through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the affembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD, concern

ing things which should not be done, and are guilty:

14 When the fin which they have finned against it, is known, then the congregation fhall offer a young bullock for the fins and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

15 And the elders of the congregation fhall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock fhall be killed before the LORD.

16 And the priest that is anointed, shal bring of the bullocks blood to the taber nacle of the congregation.

22 When a ruler bath finned & done Somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandme ts of the LORD his God, concerning things which fhould not be done, and is guilty.

23 Or if his fin, wherein he hath Ganed, come to his knowledge; be fhall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish.

24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before the LORD it is a lin offering,

25 And the priest fhall take of the blood of the fin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and hall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering.

26 And he fhall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the facrifice of peaceofferings; and the prieft fhall make an atonement for him as concerning his fin, and it fhall be forgiven him.

27 And if any one of the common people in through ignorance, while he doth Somewhat against any of commandments of the LORD,concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty:

28 Or if his fin, which he hath finned, come to his knowledge, then he fhall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish for hisfia he hath finned.

29 And he fhall lay his hand upon the head of the in-offering, and flay the finoffering in the place of the burnt-offering.

30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and fhall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

34 And the prieft fhall take of the blood of the fin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burntoffering, and fhall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

35 And he fhall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the facrifice of the peace-offerings: and the priest fhall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD and the priest hall make an atonement for bis fin that he hath committed, and it fhall be forgiven him. CHAP V.

1 Of bim that concealeth bis touching of unclean things, 4 or making an oath 14 The trespass offering in facriledge, 17 and in his fins of ignorance.

Nd if a foul fin, and hear the voice of Twearing, and is a winefs, whether he hath feen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he fhall bear his iniquity.

2 Or if a foul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcale of an unclean beaft, or a carcafe of unclean cattle, or the carcafe of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him, he alfo fhall be unclean, and guilty.

3 Or if he touch the uncleannefs of man whatfoever uncleannels it be that a man fhall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he fhall be guilty

4 Off a foul fwear, pronouncing with bis lips to do evil, or to do good, whatfoever it be that a man fhall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; wher he kroweth of it, then he fhall be guilty in one of thefe.

5 And it fhall be, when he fhall be guilty in one of these things, that he fhall confefs that he hath finned in that thing.

6 And he thall bring his trefpals-offering anto the LORD for his fin which he hath anned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a fin offering:

and the prielt fhall make an attonement for him concerning his fin.

7 And if he be not able to bring alamb, then he hall bring for his trefpafs which he hath committed, two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a Gin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.

8 And he fall bring them unto prieft, who shall offer that which is for the finoffering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but thall not div de it afunder.

9 And he thall fprinkle of the blood of the fin-offering upon the fide of the altar, and the relt of the blood fhallbe wrung out at ý bottom of the altar; it is a fin-offering. 10 And he fhall offer the fecond for a burnt-offering, according to the manner; and the priest fhall make an atonement for him, for his fin which he hath finned, and it shall be forgiven him.

II But if he be not able to bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons; then he that finned, fhall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a fin offering: he fhall put no oyl upon it, neither half he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a fin-offering.

12 Then fhall he bring it to the priest, and the priest fhall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a fin-offering.

13 And the prieft fhall make an atonement for him as touching his in that he hath finned in one of thefe, and it fhall be forgiven him and the remnant shall be the priests, as a meat offering.

14¶And Lord fpake unto Mofes faying. 15 If a foul commit a trefpals, and in through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD, then he fhall bring for his trefpafs unto the LORD; à ram without blemifh out of the flocks, with thy eftimation by thekels of filver, after the fhekel of the fanctuary, for a trefpals-offering.

16 And he fhall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and fhall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priests and the priest thatl make an attonement for him with the ram of the trefpafs-offering, and it Thall be for given him.

179 And if a foul fin, and commit any of thefe things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD though he wift it not, yet is he guilty, and fall bear his iniquity.

18 And he fhall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy eftima tion, for a trefpafs-offering unto the priest and the priest fhall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wift it not; and it fhall be forgiven him.

19 It is a trefpafs-offering: he hath ce tainly trefpaffed against the LORD. CHAP. VI. The trefpaf-offering for fins done witting ly 19.1 be offering at the confecration of a priest.

3 Of have found that which was loft, and lieth concerning it, and fweareth falfly, in any of all thefe that a man doth, finning therein:

4 Then it fhall be, because he hath finned and is guilty, that he fhall reftore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the loft thing which he found.

5 Or all that about which he hath fworn falfly, he thall even reftore it in the principal, and fhall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it

appertaineth, in the day of his trefpafsoffering.

6 And he hall bring his trefpas-offering unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation for a trefpafs-offering, unto the prielt.

And the prieft fhalf make an atonement for him before the LORD, and it fhall be forgiven him, for any thing of all that he hath done, in trefpaffing therein 8 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

9 Command Aaron and his fons, faying, This is the law of the burnt-offering: (it is the burnt-offering, becaufe of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar fhall be burning in it.)

o And the pieft fhall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches fhall he put upon his flesh, and take up the athes which the fire hath confumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he fhall put them belids the altar.

1 And he fha I put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the afhes withou the camp,unto a clean place. 12 And the fire upon the altar fhall be burning in it, it fhall not be put out and the priest fhall burn wood on it every noring, and lay the burnt-offering in order upon it, and he fhall burn thereon the fat of the peace-offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it fhall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meatoffering: the fons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

15 And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat-offering and of the oyl thereof, and all the frankincense which 2 upon the meat-offering, and shall burn it upon the altar, for a sweet favour, even the memorial of it unto the LORD.

16 And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his fons eat with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

17 It shall not be baken with leaven: I have given it unto them for their por ion of my offerings made by fire; it is moft holy as is the in-offering, and as the trefpafs-offering.

18 All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it: It shall be a ftatute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire every one that toucheth them fhall be holy. 19 And the LORD ipake unto Mofes, faying,

20 This is the offering of Aaron, and of his tons, which they fhall offer unto the LORD, in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine tour for a meat-offering perpetual, halt of it in the morning, and halt thereof at night.

In a panic fhall be made with oyl, and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat-offering halt thou cher for a fweet favour unto the LORD.

Divers laws. 22 And the priest of his fons that is anointed in his ttead, fhall offer it: It is a ftatute for ever unto the LORD, it fhall be wholly burnt.

23 For every meat-offering for the priest fhall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten. 24 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

25 Speak unto Aaron and to his fons, faying, This is the law of the in-off ring: in the place where the burnt-offering is killed, all the fin- offering be killed before the LORD. it is most holy.

26 The priest that offereth it for Gn, fhall eat it in the holy place thall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

27 Whatfoever shall touch the flesh thereof fhall be holy, and when there is fprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment thou shalt wash that whereon ít was fprinkled in the holy place..

28 But the earthen vellel wherein it is fodden, fhall be broken: ard if it be fodden in a brafen pot, it fhall be both fcoured and rinsed in water.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof; it is most holy.

30. And no fin-offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile witbal in the holy place, fhall be eaten it thall be burnt in the fre.

CHAP. VII.

1 The law of the trefpafs-offering, II and of the peace offerings. 22 The fat, 26 and the blood are forbidden.

Ikewife this is the law of the trefpafscff ring it is most holy.

2 In the place where they kill the burntoffering, fhall they kill the trefpafs-offering and the blood thereof shall he iprinkle round about upon the altar.

3 And he shall offer of it, all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards.

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys. it shall he take away.

5 And the prielt fhall burn them upon the altar, for an off ring made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trefpafs offering.

6 Every male among the priests shall eat therof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

As the fin cff ring is, fo is the trefpafsoffering: there is one law for them: the prieft that maketh atonement therewith, shall have it.

8 And the priest that offereth any mans burnt-offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

9 And all the meat-cffering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dreffed in the frying pan, and in the pan shall be the priefts that offereth it.

10 And every meat-cffering mingled w oyl, and dry, shall all the fons of Aaroa have, one as much as another.
