MONDAY.

"Stand up, and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise." "Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all: and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”Nehemiah ix.

TUESDAY.

"Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name, let the hearts of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Glory and honour are in his presence, strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; bring an offering and come before him, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."---1 Chron. xvi.

“Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, And those words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart, and thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children, and shall talk of them, when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou risest up. Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shall swear by his name. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with thee."---Deut. vi.

"Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them," "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father, which is in Heaven." "Even so

it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.” ---Matt. xviii.

WEDNESDAY.

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation." "He that is our God, is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death." "O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God."-Ps. lxviii.

"The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us nor forsake us : that he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God, and that there

is none else. Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments."---1 Kings viii.

"Thus saith the Lord, The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light. They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God,

the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace." "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth even for ever, the zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this."---Isaiah ix.
