15 Truly, judgment shall return unto righteousness,

And all the upright in heart shall follow in His train.

16 Who will stand up with me,
Against the wicked?

Who will take his station with me,
Against the workers of iniquity?

17 Had not JEHOVAH been my help,

I had quickly lain down in silence.

Though I thought: My foot hath slipped!

THY loving-kindness, O JEHOVAH, supported me.

19 When a multitude of anxious thoughts were in my mind, THY comforts cheered my soul.

20 Shall the judgment-seat of wickedness have any part with Thee? Shall he, who frameth injustice upon law?

21 They band together against the life of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood.

22 But JEHOVAH is a lofty tower of defence to me, And my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 HE will bring back upon themselves their wickedness; Yea, for their iniquities, He will cut them offJEHOVAH, our God, will cut them off.

PSALM XCV.

1 O COME, let us sing unto JEHOVAH,

Let us raise a joyful shout unto the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us present before Him a song of praise,

Let us shout unto Him joyfully, with psalms.

3 For JEHOVAH is a great God,

And a great King above all gods!

4 In whose power are the deep recesses of the earth,
And to whom belong the heights of the mountains;
5 To whom belongeth the sea, for He made it;
And the dry land, for His hands formed it!

6 Enter ye, let us bow down, yea, let us bend low—
Let us kneel before JEHOVAH, our Maker!

7 For He is our God,

And the flock, which His hand guideth.

"Where they proved Me, though they had seen My works!

PSALM XCVI.

1 SING unto JEHOVAH a new song,
Sing unto JEHOVAH, all the earth.
2 Sing unto JEHOVAH, bless His Name,
Proclaim from day to day His salvation.

3 Recount amongst the nations His glory-
Amongst all people, His wonders.

4 For great is JEHOVAH, and exceedingly to be praised; He is to be reverenced above all gods.

5 Truly, all the gods of the nations are powerless idols, But JEHOVAH made the heavens !

Glory and majesty are before Him,

Power and splendour are in His sanctuary!

7 Ascribe unto JEHOVAH, ye families of the nationsAscribe unto JEHOVAH glory and might.

8 Ascribe unto JEHOVAH the glory due unto His Name, Take an offering, and enter into His courts.

9 Bow yourselves down unto JEHOVAH in holy ornaments; - Tremble at His presence, all the earth.

10 Declare amongst the nations:

"JEHOVAH reigneth!

"Yea, the world is firmly fixed, it cannot be moved! "HE judgeth the people with perfect rectitude!"

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth exult,

Let the sea roar, and all things which it containeth.

12 Let the fields and every thing, which is in them, be joyful, While all the trees of the forest sing before Jehovah.

13 For He cometh

For He cometh to judge the earth!

HE judgeth the world, in righteousness;

And the nations, according to His faithfulness!

PSALM XCVII.

1 JEHOVAH reigneth!

Let the earth exult,

Let the many islands rejoice!

2 Clouds and thick darkness are round about Him,

Righteousness and equity are the foundation of His throne!

3 A fire goeth before Him,

And burneth up His enemies on every side!

4 His lightnings illumine the world,

The earth beholdeth Him, and trembleth as in pangs!

5 The mountains melt, like wax, at the presence of JEHOVAHAt the presence of the Lord of all the earth!

6 The heavens announce His righteousness,

And all nations behold His glory!

7 All those, who worship graven images, are brought to shame Those, who make their boast in powerless idols!

All their gods bow down before Him!

a Sion heareth and rejoiceth,

And the daughters of Judah are glad,

Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.

9 For Thou, O JEHOVAH, art most high over all the earth, THOU art greatly exalted above all gods.

10 Abhor evil, O ye who love JEHOVAH.

HE is the preserver of the lives of His pious worshippers; From the hand of the wicked, doth He deliver them.

11 Light ariseth upon the righteous,

And joy upon the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice, ye righteous, in JEHOVAH, And celebrate His holy Name.

PSALM XCVIII.

SING unto JEHOVAH a new song,
For He hath done wonderful things!
His right hand and His holy arm

Have wrought salvation for Him!

2 JEHOVAH hath made known His salvation !
He hath displayed His righteousness,
In the sight of the nations!
