PSALM lvii. 9. Awake up, my glory; awake, lute and harp; I myself will awake right early.

cxviii. 24. This is the day which the LORD hath made: we will rejoice and be glad in it.

lvii. 9. Awake up, my glory; awake, lute and harp; I myself will awake right early.

I CORINTHIANS XV. 20. For now is CHRIST risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept. 57. Thanks be to GOD, Which giveth us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

All praise be Thine, O risen LORD,
From death to endless life restored;
All praise to GOD the FATHER be,
And HOLY GHOST eternally. Amen.

I ST. JOHN iv. II. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

21. And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth GOD love his brother also.

Christians, awake, salute the happy morn,
Whereon the SAVIOUR of mankind was born;
Rise to adore the mystery of love,

Which hosts of angels chanted from above;
With them the joyful tidings first begun
Of GOD Incarnate, of the Virgin's Son.

Oh! may we keep and ponder in our mind
GOD's wondrous love in saving lost mankind;
Trace we the Babe, Who hath retrieved our loss,
From the poor manger to the bitter Cross;
Tread in His steps, assisted by His grace,

Till man's first heavenly state again takes place.

Then may we hope, the angelic hosts among,
To join, redeemed, a glad triumphant throng.
He That was born upon this joyful day
Around us all His glory shall display;
Saved by His love, incessant we shall sing
Eternal praise to heaven's Almighty King. Amen.

No pomp of earthly kingdom,,
No worldly grandeur then,
Hailed Thy coming, Son of Mary,
weary men;

To a world of

But sweet angelic voices

Sang the song that ne'er shall cease,
The song that down the ages.

Brings everlasting peace.

No bounds of space now fetter
The memory of Thy birth;
To-day the gladsome news rings out
Through all the awakened earth;
The glorious tidings joyously,
Now countless mortals sing,
On us a SAVIOUR is bestowed,
To us is born a King,

Then let mankind their voices raise.
In thankful praise to Thee,

Hail to Thee, Son of Mary,

For Thou hast made us free!
Hail to Thee, Babe of Bethlehem,
On this Thy natal day,

Thy sacrifice of boundless love
Thy saints shall laud for aye.

From the Order for Holy Communion.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up unto the LORD.

Let us give thanks unto our LORD GOD.
It is meet and right so to do.

It is very meet, right, and our bounden duty, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, Holy Father, Almighty, Everlasting GOD.

Therefore with Angels and Archangels, and all the company of heaven, we laud and magnify Thy glorious Name; evermore praising Thee, and saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD GOD of Hosts, heaven and earth are full of Thy glory: Glory be to Thee, O LORD, most High. Amen.

LORD of the harvest, Thee we hail;
Thine ancient promise doth not fail;
The varying seasons haste their round,
With goodness all our years are crown'd:
Our thanks we pay,

This holy day;

O let our hearts in tune be found.

If Spring doth wake the song of mirth;
If Summer warms the fruitful earth;
When Winter sweeps the naked plain,
Or Autumn yields its ripened grain;
Our thanks we pay,

This holy day,

O let our hearts in tune be found.

But chiefly when Thy liberal Hand
Bestows new plenty o'er the land,
When sounds of music fill the air,
As homeward all their treasures bear;
We too will raise

Our hymn of praise,

For we Thy common bounties share.

LORD of the harvest, all is Thine;
The rains that fall, the suns that shine,
The seed once hidden in the ground,
The skill that makes our fruits abound;
New every year

Thy gifts appear;

New praises from our lips shall sound:

Immortal honour, endless fame,

Attend the Almighty Father's Name;
Like honour to the Incarnate Son,
Who, for lost man, redemption won;
And equal praise

We thankful raise

To Thee, Blest Spirit, with Them One. Amen.

1. O Perfect Love, all human thought transcending, Lowly we kneel in prayer before Thy Throne, That theirs may be the love that knows no ending, Whom Thou for evermore dost join in one.

2. O Perfect Life, be Thou their full assurance
Of tender charity and stedfast faith,

Of patient hope and quiet brave endurance,
With child-like trust that fears nor pain nor death.

3. Grant them the joy that brightens earthly sorrow,
Grant them the peace which calms all earthly strife,
And to life's day the glorious unknown morrow,
That dawns upon eternal love and life. Amen.

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.

PSALM CXlvii. 7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving, sing to the LORD with harp.

CV. 2. O let your songs be of Him, and praise Him; and let your talking be of all His wondrous works.

cxlvii. 7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving, sing to the LORD upon the harp, sing praise to our God.

8. Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Sing praise to our GOD, Who maketh the grass to grow upon the mountains, and herb for the use of men.

7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving, sing to the LORD with harp.

Father, blessing every seed-time,
And refreshing all the soil,
Ripening the gracious harvest

For which all Thy servants toil:
O Thou Source of every blessing
Showered daily from above,
Hearken to our lips confessing

Our thanksgiving for Thy love. Amen.

Mary sat at even

In her garden's shade,
And the evening sunlight
Round about her played.
