Moses' speech in the end of the fortieth year: in which he briefly rehearseth the promise of God; 13 the appointment of officers for them; 19 the sending of the spies to search the land; 34 and God's anger for their incredulity and disobedience. THESE be the words which Moses THE spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab. 2 There are eleven days' journey from Horeb by the way of mount b Num. 13. 26. CHAPTER IV. An exhortation to obedience. 41 Moses appointeth the three cities of refuge on the east of Jordan.
