is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." (Rom. x. 12, 13.) All the children of Adam are involved in the same guilt and misery; all need the same Saviour to redeem, and the same Spirit to sanctify and comfort them. It is, for substance, and in all important points, the same preaching which is the power of God unto salvation, both to Jew and Gentile (Rom. i. 16, 17; 1 Cor. i. 18, 21-25); though it is lawful and right, and truly Scriptural, in regard to the form and manner in which the truth is proposed, to become "all things to all men," that " by all means
