The Autumn Meeting of this Club took place on the 26th and 27th of October, the hares more than usually plentiful, but the weather extremely

boisterous.

The Cup, for dogs of 1836, was won in the deciding course by Mr. Morris's Mermaid beating Mr. Geddes's Bob:-Sweepstakes for dogs of all ages, Dr. Brown's Ruby and his Chance were the winning dogs:-Sweepstakes for dogs that never won nor ran second for any public Stakes, by Dr. Brown's Sweeper beating Mr. Maxwell's Moloch.
