THE chief part of the following Meditations originally appeared in the First Volume of the "Penny Post:" the management of that Magazine passed into other hands at the end of the first year; and the remainder of the Meditations was not printed. Some who knew them, thought it might be useful to complete the series. The Editor has therefore published them in the present form, in the hope that they may be of service to any who, in their endeavours after a holy life, would gladly learn somewhat of the depth and fulness of those.
