1 27 Zuletzt nach allen starb auch das Weib. 28 Nun in der Auferstehung, weffen Weib wird sie sehn unter den Sieben? Sie haben sie ja alle gehabt. 29 Jesus aber antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr irret, und wisset die Schrift nicht, noch die Kraft Gottes. 30 In der Auferstehung werden sle weder frehen, noch sich frehen lassen; sondern sie sind gleichwie die Engel Gottes im Himmel. 31 Habt ihr aber nicht gelesen von der Todten Auferstehung, das euch gesagt ist von Gott, da er spricht: 32 Ich bin der Gott Abrahams, und der Gott Isaaks, und der Gott Jakobs? Gott aber ist nicht ein Gott der Todten, sondern der Lebendigen. 33 Und da solches das Volk hörete, entsetzten sie sich über seiner Lehre. 34 Da aber die Pharisäer höreten, daß er den Sadducäern das Maul gestopfet hatte, versammelten sie sich. 35 Und Einer unter ihnen, ein Schriftgelehrter, versuchte ihn, und sprach: 36 Meister, welches ist das vornehmste Gebot im Gesetze? 37 Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Du sollst lieben Gott, deinen Herrn, von ganzem Herzen, von ganzer Seele, und bon ganzem Gemüthe. 38 Dies ist das vornehmste und größeste Gebot. 39 Das andere aber ist dem gleich: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben als dich selbst. 40 In diesen zwehen Geboten hanget das ganze Gesetz und die Propheten. 41 Da nun die Pharisäer beh einander waren, fragte sie Jesus, 42 und sprach: Wie dünket euch um Christo? Weß Sohn ist er? Sie sprachen: Davids. 43 Er sprach zu ihnen: Wie nennet ihn denn David im Geiste einen Herrn, da er fagt: 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. 34 T But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? Da rebete Jefus zu dem Bolle, und zu seinen Jüngern, 2 und sprach: Auf Mosis Stuhle fitzen die Schriftgelehrten und Pharifäer. 3 Alles nun, was sie euch sagen, das ihr halten sollt, das haltet und thut es; aber nach ihren Werken sollt ihr nicht thun. Sie sagen es wohl, und thun es nicht. 4 Sie binden aber schwere und unerträgliche Bürden, und legen sie den Menschen auf den Hals; aber sie wollen dieselbigen nicht mit einem Finger regen. 5 Alle ihre Werke aber thun sle, daß sie von den Leuten gesehen werden. Sie machen ihre Denkzettel breit, und die Säume an ihren Kleidern groß. 6 Sie sitzen gerne oben an über Tische und in den Schulen, 7 Und haben es gerne, daß fle gegrüßet werden auf dem Markte, und von den Menschen Rabbi genannt werden. 8 Aber ihr sollt euch nicht Rabbi nennen lassen; denn Einer ist euer Meister, Christus; ihr aber fehd alle Brüder. 9 und sollt Niemand Vater heißen auf Erden: denn Einer ist euer Vater, der im Himmel ist. 10 Und ihr sollt euch nicht lassen Meister nennen: denn Einer ist euer Meister, Christus. 11 Der Größeste unter euch soll euer Diener seyn. 12 Denn wer sich selbst erhöhet, der wird erniedriget; und wer sich selbst erniedriget, der wird erhöhet. man, from that day forth, ask him any more questions. CHAPTER XXIII. THEN spake Jesus to the multi tude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do: but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens, and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ and all ye are brethren. ; 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you, shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself, shall be abased: and he that shall humble himself, shall be exalted. 13 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharifäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr das Himmelreich zuschließet vor den Menschen ihr fommt nicht hinein, und die hinein wollen, tasset ihr nicht hinein gehen. 14 Wehe euch. Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr der Wittwen Häuser fresset, und wendet lange Gebete vor! darum werdet ihr desto mehr Verdammniß empfangen, 15 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharifäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr Land und Wasser umziehet, daß ihr einen Judengenossen machet; und wenn er es geworden ist, macht ihr aus ihm ein Kind der Hölle, zwiefältig mehr, denn ihr seyd! 16 Wehe euch, verblendete Leiter, die ihr saget: Wer da schwöret bey dem Tempel, das ist nichts; wer aber schmöret bey dem Golde am Tempel, der ist schuldig. 17 Jhr Narren und Blinde! was ist größer, das Gold, oder der Tempel, der das Gold heiliget? 18 Wer da schwöret bey dem Altare, das ist nichts; wer aber schwöret ben dem Opfer, das droben ist, der ist schuldig. 19 Jhr Narren und Blinde! was ist größer, das Opfer, oder der Altar, der das Opfer heiliget? 20 Darum, wer da schwöret bey dem Altare, der schwöret bey demselben, und beh allem, das droben ist. 21 Und wer da schwöret beh dem Tempel, der schwöret bey demselbigen, und beh dem, der darinnen wohnet. 22 Und wer da schwöret beh dem Himmel, der schwöret bey dem Stuhle Gottes, und bey dem, der darauf sitzt. 13 T But wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering, to go in. 14 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, ye make him two-fold more the child of hell than yourselves. 16 Wo unto you, ye blind guides! which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor. 17 Ye fools, and blind! for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18 And whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 19 Ye fools, and blind! for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise, and cummin, and have omitted the weight 23 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharifäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr verzehntet die Münze, Till und Kümmel, und laßt dahinten das Schwerste im Gesetze, nemlich das Gericht, die Barm-ier herzigkeit und den Glauben! Dies sollte man thun, und jenes nicht lassen. 24 3hr verblendete Leiter, die ihr Mücken seiget und Kameele verschlucket! matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharifäern, ihr Heuchter, die ihr die Becher und Schüsseln auswendig reinlich haltet, inwendig aber ist es voll Haubes und Fraßes! 26 Du blinder Pharifäer, reinige zum ersten das Inwendige am Becher und Schüffel, auf daß auch das Auswendige rein werde! 27 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr gleich fehd wie die übertünchten Gräber, weiche auswendig hübsch scheinen, aber inwendig sind sie voller Todtenbeine, und alles Unflats! 28 Also auch ihr: von außen scheinet ihr vor den Menschen fromm; aber inwendig seyd ihr voller Heucheleh und Untugend. 29 Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäern, ihr Heuchler, die ihr der Propheten Gräber bauet, und schmücket der Gerechten Gräber, 30 und sprechet: Wären wir zu unserer Väter Zeiten gewesen, so wollten wir nicht theilhaftig seyn mit ihnen an der Propheten Blute. 31 So gebt ihr zwar über euch selbst Zeugniß, daß ihr Kinder seyd derer, die die Propheten getödtet haben. 32 Wohlan, erfüllet auch ihr das Maaß eurer Väter! 33 Ihr Schlangen, ihr Otterngezüchte, wie wollt ihr der höllischen Verdammniß entrinnen? 34 Darum stehe, ich sende zu euch Propheten, und Weise, und Schrift gelehrte und derselbigen werdet ihr etliche tödten und kreuzigen, und etliche | werdet ihr geißeln in euren Schulen, und werdet sie verfolgen von einer Stadt zu der andern; 35 Auf daß über euch komme alles das gerechte Blut, das vergossen ist auf Erden, von dem Blut an des gerechten Abels, bis auf das Blut Zacharia, Barachiä Sohn, welchen ihr getödtet habt zwischen dem Tempel und Altare. 36 Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß solches alles wird über dies Geschlecht kom men. 25 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Wo unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel, unto the blood of Zacharias, son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 1 37 Jerufalem, Jerusalem, die du tödteft die Propheten, und steinigest, die zu dir gesandt sind! wie oft habe ich deine Kinder versammeln wollen, wie eine Henne versammelt ihre Küchlein unter ihre Flügel; und ihr habt nicht gewollt. 38 Šiehe, euer Haus soll euch wüste gelassen werden. 39 Denn ich sage euch: Ihr werdet mich von jetzt an nicht sehen, bis ihr sprechet: Gelobet seh, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn ! Das 24 Capitel. Und Jesus ging hinweg von dem Tempel, und seine Jünger traten zu ihm, daß sie ihm zeigten des Tempels Gebäude. 2 Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Sehet ihr nicht das alles? Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Es wird hier nicht ein Stein auf dem andern bleiben, der nicht zerbrochen werde. 3 und als er auf dem Dehlberge saß, traten zu ihm seine Jünger besonders, und sprachen: Sage uns, wann wird das geschehen? Und welches wird das Zeichen sehn deiner Zukunft, und der Welt Ende? 4 Jesus aber antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Sehet zu, daß euch nicht Jemand verführe. 5 Denn es werden Viele kommen unter meinem Namen und sagen: Ich bin Christus, und werden Viele verführen. 6 Ihr. werdet hören Kriege und Gefchreh von Kriegen: Sehet zu, und erschredet nicht. Das muß zum ersten alles geschehen; aber es ist noch nicht das Ende da. 7 Denn es wird sich empören ein Volt über das-andere, und ein Königreich über das andere, und werden sehn Pestilenz und theure Zeit, und Erdbeben hin und wieder. 8 Da wird sich allererst die Noth anheben. 9 Alsdann werden sie euch überantworten in Trübsal, und werden euch 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. CHAPTER XXIV. ND Jesus went out, and de A parted from the temple, and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3¶ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars, and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: |
