THE CONFESSIONALS.

HE Confeffionals are attended every Morning from 7 till half paft 9 o'clock.

Alfo on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 2 till 5 o'clock in the Afternoon, and from 7 till 10 o'clock in the Evening. During Indulgences, on the Afternoons and Evenings of Friday as well as of Wednesday and Saturday.

The Confeffionals are also attended on the Vigils of Feasts of Obligation, and on the Vigils of a few other Feasts.

PLENARY INDULGENCES.

PLENARY Indulgence may be gained on each of the following days.

Feb. 5. The 3 Martyrs of Japan; Paul, John and James. May 11. St. Francis de Hieronymo.

June 16. St. John Francis Regis.

21. St. Aloyfius.

July 31. St. Ignatius.

Oct. 10. St. Francis Borgia.

Nov. 13. St. Stanislas.

Dec. 3. St. Francis Xavier.

The Conditions for gaining the Plenary Indulgence are:
1. Confeffion, with fincere repentance, to a Priest ap-
proved by the Bishop.

2. Holy Communion in any Church or Chapel.
3. A Vifit to a Church or Chapel of the Society of
Jefus, and prayer according to the intention of
His Holiness.

These Confraternities are under the Direction of the Rev. James Brownbill.

C. O Lord, make hafte to help us.

P. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghoft.

C. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Amen.

Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trefpaffes as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.

AIL Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; bleffed art thou among women, and bleffed is the fruit of thy womb, Jefus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us finners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven

and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghoft, born of the Virgin Mary, fuffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he defcended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and fitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of fins, the refurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Let us pray.

ALMIGHTY and eternal God, who haft appointed us fix days, in which we may labour, and haft confecrated the feventh to thyfelf; grant, we beseech thee, that according as thou haft commanded, we may fanctify this day, by devoting it entirely to thy love and service. Mercifully forgive us all our past neglect; pardon the fins of which we have been guilty during the courfe of the week, and give us grace henceforth to avoid them. Make us fenfible, O God, of the daily bleffings we receive from thy bounty; that as we know thee by faith, we may love thee by charity; and fixing all our hopes on the happiness of a future life, we may patiently fuffer, in fubmiffion to thy holy will, what thou dost now permit, and may come at length to the joys of thy heavenly kingdom; through our Lord Jefus Chrift thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
