Lord hear my prayer; give ear to my supplication according to thy truth; hear me according to thy justice.

And enter not into judgment with thy servant for no one living shall be found just in thy sight.

For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has humbled my life to the ground.

He has put me in dark places, like those that died long ago; and my mind is uneasy for myself, my heart is troubled within me.

I have remembered the days of old; I meditated upon all thy works; on the deeds of thy hands did I meditate.

I stretched out my hands towards thee; my soul is to thee as earth with

out water.

Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spi rit has fainted.

Turn not away thy face from me;

for

Make me hearthy mercy in the morning, because I have hoped in thee. Make the way known to ine wherein I am to walk; because I have lifted up my soul to thee.)
