Why should we so joy - ful-ly Sing with grateful mirth? See! the Sun of Righteousness Beams upon the earth! Light for weary wanderers, Com-fort for th'oppressed! He will guide His trusting ones In- to per-fect rest. Deeds of Faith and Char-i - ty, These our off'rings be, Leading every soul to sing, Christ was born for me!

To the house of praise and pray'r; Let them on the al - tar bloom, lil-ies white, Bending soft - ly in the light; While our hearts to Him we bow;
