Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

CHAP. IV.

JOHN, xvi. 13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak : and he will show you things to come. JUDE, 4: For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
