"Gather up the fragments that remain.”
John vi. 12.

HE multitude are going away,
But JESUS bids His people stay;
A little while with JESUS stop,
And gather all the fragments up.
2 There's bread and fish for
And plenty more, for all is free;

you

and me,

Who would not then with JESUS stop,
And gather all the fragments up?

L.M

3 There's wine, new, from the lees refin'd, If you for glory are inclin'd;

Come then with us and JESUS stop,
And gather all the fragments up.
4 Come and partake the rich repast,
The best comes ofttimes at the last;
Your baskets fill up to the top,
In love pack all the fragments up.
5 O JESUS, I will gladly stay,

And gather fragments all the day;
Till death I will with JESUS stop,
And gather all the fragments up.
6 And when the gath'ring time is past,
May I with JESUS dwell at last;
Till then I will with JESUS stop,
And gather all the fragments up

"Ye rejoice with joy unspeakable."
1 Pet. i. 8.

YOME, we that love the LORD,

Mud Tet our joys be known;

Join in a song with sweet accord,

And thus surround the throne.

Chorus.-Then let our songs abound,
And ev'ry tear be dry;

[ground, We're marching through IMMANUEL'S To fairer worlds on high.

The sorrows of the mind

Be banish'd from this place;
Religion never was design'd
To make our pleasures less.

Then let our songs abound, &c.

Let those refuse to sing

That never knew our GOD;

But favourites of the heav'nly KING
May speak their joys abroad.

Then let our songs abound, &c.

The men of grace have found
Glory begun below;

Celestial fruits on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow.
Then let our songs abound, &c.

The hill of Zion yields

A thousand sacred sweets,

Before we reach the heavenly fields,
Or walk the golden streets.

Then let our songs abound, &c.

6 Yes, and before we rise

To that immortal state,

The thoughts of such amazing bliss
Should constant joys create.

Then let our songs abound, &c

412 "Praise the name of the Lord."

Ps. cxiii. 1.

GAIN in JESUS' name we've met,

L.M.

And still our hearts on Thee are set;
Direct and guide us in Thy way,
Give us a blessed Gospel day.

2 Our hearts are fix'd to do Thy will,
Here let Thy presence be felt still;
We lift our hearts to Thee and pray,
That we, O LORD, be bless'd to-day.

3 'Tis here the living waters flow,
"Tis here we gather strength and grow,
'Tis here we get our wants supplied,
While we with CHRIST are crucified.

4 'Tis here the HOLY GHOST is give,
Which teaches us the way to live;
'Tis here the sick they do get heal'd,
As in GoD's word it is reveal'd.

5 We lift our hearts and praise the LORD,
For leaving this upon record;

And when we meet with Him above,
We'll louder shout His praise and love.

"All that believed were together."
Acts ii. 44.

ASTE, again, ye days of grace,
When assembled in one place,
Signs and wonders mark'd the hour,
All were fill'd and spoke with pow'r;

7's

Hand uplifted, eyes o'erflowed,
Hearts enlarged, self-destroy'd,
All things common now we'll prove,
All our common stock be love.

Chorus.-JESUS now His work revives,

Now His quick'ning SPIRIT strives,
Oh let preachers, people-all,
Listen to the glorious call!
Join the simple, lively throng,
Catch the fire and swell the song,
Heart in heart, and hand in hand,
Spread the life through all the land.

2 O that each may now prevail,
Act the faith that cannot fail,
Rise and pull the blessing down,
Seize the kingdom for their own!
Fire our hearts with holy zeal,
Glowing still for Zion's weal;
Heaven open; blessings pour;
SPIRIT, work this very hour!

And see each other's face?
Glory and praise to JESUS give
For His redeeming grace.

Preserv'd by pow'r divine
To full salvation here,

Again in JESUS' praise we join,
And in His sight appear.

What troubles have we seen,
What conflicts have we past,
Fightings without, and fears within,
Since we assembled last!

But out of all the LORD

Hath brought us by His love;

And still He doth His help afford,
And hides our life above.

Then let us make our boast
Of His redeeming pow'r,

Which saves us to the uttermost,

Till we can sin no more.

Let us take up the cross,

Till we the crown obtain ;

And gladly reckon all things loss,
So we may JESUS gain.

"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I."-Matt. xviii. 20.

10's & 11's.

APPOINTED by Thee, we meet in Thy

name,

And meekly agree to follow the LAMB,

To trace Thy example, the world to disdain, And trample on pleasure again and again.

2 Rejoicing in hope, we humbly go on,

And daily take up the pledge of our crown; In doing and bearing the will of our LORD, We still are preparing to meet our reward.
