The second kind is what doth not annul or hinder the sacrament from being true and valid, yet makes it a very great crime to transgress in. 1. Such as where mutual promises have been made by either of the parties to any other person.2. Where the simple vow of chastity has been made by either contracted party.-3. When the marriage is solemnized within the forbidden seasons; viz. from the first Sunday of Advent to Twelfth-Day; and from Ash-Wednesday to LowSunday, including these mentioned days.

MORNING AND EVENING PRAYER,
WHICH MAY BE USED ON SUNDAYS AND OTHER DAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
The Morning and Evening Prayer are each in twò Divisions. It is recommended to all Parents and Masters to read the short Morning and Evening Prayer publicly in their families every Day. longer form may be used on Sundays and Holidays, or every Day by those who have Time.

PROPER TO BE DAILY USED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR*.
Some one or more of these Sentences of Scripture which follow may be read either before or after Prayer for the Purpose of Meditation.
WHEN the just man turneth himself away from his justice, and committeth iniquity, he shall die therein in the injustice which he hath wrought he shall die. Ezech. xviii. 26.
And when the wicked man turneth himself away from his wickedness which he hath wrought
* If there be one counsel more required than another, in the first page of this Work, it is to caution the female Sex against levity in Church. They perhaps are seldom aware of the great scandal occasioned by their example in talking, gazing and laughing, and that to their levity may be principally ascribed the irreverences committed. A pious woman should recollect that edification is exacted of her by religion, from the moment she enters within the door, till she leave the threshold of the Church.
