After the Administration of the Lord's Supper,

Corinthians, xv. 35-44.-But fome man will fay, how are.

the dead raised up? and with what body do they come ?

Thou fool, that which thou toweft is not quickened except.

it die. And that which thou, foweft, thou foweft not that

body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat,

or of fome other grain: but God giveth it a body as it hath

pleafed him, and to every feed his own body. All flesh is

not the fame flefh: but there is one kind of flesh of men,

another flesh of beafs, another, of fishes, and another of birds.

There are alfo celeftial. bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but

the glory of the celeftial is one, and the glory of the terref

trial is another. There is one glory of the fun, and another,

glory of the moon, and another glory of the ftars; for one.

ftar differeth from another ftar in glory. So alfo is the ref

urrection of the dead: it is fown in corruption, it is raised,

in incorruption: it is fown in difhonor, it is raifed in glory:.
it is fown in weakness, it is raised in power: it is fown a
natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natur-
al body, and there is a fpiritual body.

John, iv. 46-54-So Jefus came again into Cana of Galilee,

where he made the water wine. And there was a certain no-

bleman, whose son was fick at Capernaum, when he heard

that Jefus was come out of Judea into Galilee he went unto

him, and befought him that he would come down and heal

his fon: for he was at the point of death. Then faid Jefus

unto him, except ye fee figns and wonders ye will not be-

lieve. The nobleman faith unto him, fir, come down ere.

liveth,

liveth. And the man believed the word that Jefus had fpok-

en unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now go-

ing down his fervants met him, and told him, faying, thy fon

liveth. Then inquired he of them the hour when he began

to amend. And they faid unto him, yefterday at the feventh

hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at

the fame hour in the which Jefus faid unto him, thy fon

liveth, and himself believed, and his whole houfe. This is

again the fecond miracle that Jefus did, when he was come

was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centu

rion, befeeching him, and faying, Lord, my fervant lieth at

home fick of the pally, grievously tormented, and Jefus faith

unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answer-

ed and faid, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come

under my root: but fpeak the word only, and my fervant

hall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having

foldiers under me, and I fay to this man, go, and he goeth,

and to another, come, and he cometh; and to my fervant do

this, and he doeth it. When Jefus heard it he marvelled,

and laid to them that followed, verily I lay unto you, I have

not found fo great faith, no not in Ifrael. And I fay unto

you, that many thall come from the eaft and weft, and fhall

fit down with Abraham, and Ifaac, and Jacob, in the king-

dom of heaven: but the children of the kingdom fhall be

caft out into outer darkness: there fhall be weeping and

gnashing of teeth. And, Jefus faid unto the centurion, go

thy way, and as thou haft believed, fo be it done unto thee.

And his fervant was healed in the fell-fame hour.-Now

when he had ended all his layings in the audience of the

-people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centu-

elders of the Jews, beleeching him that he would come and

heal his fervant. And when they came to Jelus they be

fought him inftantly, faying, that he was worthy for whom

built us a fynagogue. Then Jefus went with them. And

when he was now not far from the houle, the centurion fent

friends to him, faying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself;

for I am not worthy that thou fhouldeft enter under my

roof: wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come

unto thee but fay in a word, and my fervant fhall be heal-

ed. For I alfo am a man set under authority, having under

me foldiers; and I fay unto one go, and he goeth and to

another come, and he cometh; and to my fervant, do this,

and he doeth it. When Jefus heard these things he marvel-

led at him, and turned him about, and faid unto the people

that followed him, I fay unto you, I have not found fo great

faith, no not in Ifrael. And they that were fent returning

to the house, found the fervant whole that had been fick.

John, vi. 1-14.-After these things Jefus went over the fea

of Galilee, which is the fea of Tiberias. And a great multi-

tude followed him, because they faw his miracles which he

did on them that were diseased. And Jefus went up into a

mountain, and there he fat with his difciples. And the paff-

over, a feast of the Jews, was nigh. When Jefus then lift-

ed up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he

faith unto Philip, whence fhall we buy bread, that these may

eat? (And this he faid to prove him: for he himself knew

what he would do.) Philip anfwered him, two hundred

pennyworth of bread is not fufficient for them, that every

one of them may take a little. One of his difciples, Andrew,

Simon Peter's brother, faith unto him, there is a lad here,

which hath five barley loaves, and two fmall fishes, but what

are they among fo many? And Jefus faid, make the men

fit down. Now there was much grafs in the place. So the

men fat down, in number about five thousand. And Jefus

took the loaves; and when he had given thanks he diftribu-

ted

ted to the difciples, and the difciples to them that were fet

down; and likewife of the fishes as much as they would.

When they were filled, he faid unto his difciples, gather up

the fragments that remain, that nothing be loft. Therefore

they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with

the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over

and above unto them that had eaten. Then those men, when

they had seen the miracle that Jefus did, faid, this is of a

truth that prophet that should come into the world.
