The Law and Elderly People
This work is designed to provide a wide-ranging discussion on all issues of practical importance for those whose job it is to give advice to and on elderly people. It focuses on legal advice and assistance relating to a range of personal, social and financial issues of importance to elderly people today and social policy considerations underlying that advice and assistance. The work considers the law as it relates to both the elderly person and the elderly person's property. Emphasis is placed on enabling legislation, allowing people to plan their future with professional assistance and to take advantage of the range of personal and financial services on offer.
