God! how great is the fum of them !

18 If Ifhould count them, they are more in number than the fand: when I awake, I am ftill with thee.

19 Surely thou wilt flay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with thofe that rife up against thee?

22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts:

24 And fee if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlafting.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my foul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I faid, Thou art my refuge, and my portion in the land of the living.

6 Attend unto my cry, for I am brought very low: deliver me from my perfecutors, for they are stronger than I.

7 Bring my foul out of prifon, that I may praise thy name: the righteous fhall compafs me about; for thou fhalt deal bountifully with me.

PSALM CXLIV.

II Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of ftrange children, whose mouth fpeaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falfehood:

12 That our fons may be as plants grown up in their youth that our daughters may be as corner-ftones polifhed after the fimilitude of a palace:

13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of ftore; that our fheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

2 Every day will I blefs thee: and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: and his greatnefs is unfearchable.

4 One generation fhall praife thy works to another, and fhall declare thy mighty acts.

5 I will fpeak of the glorious honour of thy majefty, and of thy wondrous works.

6 And men fhall fpeak of the might of thy terrible acts and I will declare thy greatness.

7 They fhall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and fhall fing of thy righteoufnefs.

8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compaffion; flow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All thy works fhall praife thee, O Lord, and thy faints fhall blefs thee.

11 They fhall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12 To make known to the fons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majefty of his kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is an
