For The

EHOLD he cometh leaping on the mountains, skipping over the hills. My beloved is like a roe and a fawn. Behold, he standeth behind our wall, looking through the windows, peeping through the lattices. Behold, my beloved saith to me: Arise, make haste, ny love, my dove, my fair one, and come away. now the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. flowers appear in our land; pruning time is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our country. The fig-tree shooteth forth her green figs; and the vines in flower send forth their sweet smell, Arise, my love, my fair one and come away: My dove, that art retired in clefts of the rock, in the holes of the wall, shew me thy face, let thy voice sound in my ears for thy voice is sweet, and thy face is comely.

GRAD. Thou art blessed, and worthy of our respects, O Mary, the Virgin, who, without prejudice to thy virginity, didst become the mother of the Saviour. V. Virgin-mother of God, he, become man, was shut up in thy womb, whom the whole world, cannot contain.

Alleluia, Alleluia. V. Happy art thou, O holy Virgin Mary, and worthy of all praise, because from thee did arise the Sun of righteousness, Christ our God. Alleluia.

Luke i. 39. 47.

ARY rising up in those days, went in haste to the hilly country to a city of Juda: and going into the house of Zacharias, saluted Elizabeth. And it came to pass, as soon as Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the infant leapt in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: and she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is

the fruit of thy womb. And how happened this to me, that the Mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, as soonas the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the infant leapt for joy in my womb. And blessed art thou, that hast believed; for the things that have been told thee from the Lord, shall be accomplished. And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord: and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. CREDO.

OFFERT. Blessed art thou, O Mary, the Virgin, who didst bring forth the, Creator of all things: thou bearedst him, who made thee, and remainest a Virgin for
