Another instance in support of the statement in the text, that saints are often grouped together merely because they bear the same name, is that of Mary Magdalene and Mary of Egypt, who have their acts pictured in double line round the Chapel of the Bargello in Florence. So also the two Jesuit saints Francis Xavier and Borgia are frequently drawn side by side, and the student of Christian art may remember the constantly recurring difficulty of discriminating between the two Justinas of Florence and of Padua.
