Calcium superphosphate is made by mixing finely ground calcium phosphate in the form of a dust cloud with a fine spray of sulphuric acid which may be of 1.84 specific gravity or somewhat weaker. The product is usually sufficiently dry to be packed into bags, but when a weaker acid is used, some drying may be necessary. The temperature employed may be above or below normal.
