N the Name of the FATHER, and of the SON, In of TH HIS is the day which the LORD hath made; O send out Thy light and Thy truth, that they may lead me, and bring me unto Thy holy hill, and to Thy dwelling. And that I may go unto the altar of GOD, even unto the GOD of my joy and gladness; and give thanks unto Thee, O GOD, my GOD. Amen. For Preparation for Death and Judgment. A LMIGHTY GOD, give me grace that I may cast away the works of darkness, and put upon me the armour of light, now in the time of this mortal life, in which Thy SON JESUS CHRIST came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when He shall come again in His glorious Majesty to judge both the quick and dead, I may rise to the life immortal, through Him Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the HOLY GHOST, now and ever. Amen. The Collect for the Day. Pray for Grace to keep the LORD's Day holy. LMIGHTY GOD, Who by the Resurrection day holy to us; give me grace that I may keep it holy to Thee. Be with me throughout this day wherever I may be, especially when I am in Thy House. Assist me mercifully in all my prayers and supplications, and dispose my heart towards the attainment of everlasting salvation. Grant that whatever in Thy Word I may profitably learn I may indeed fulfil the same, that it may bring forth in me the fruit of good living, to the honour and praise of Thy Name; through JESUS CHRIST our LORD.
