8. And it fhall be in that day,that living waters fhall go out from Ferufalem: half of them towards the former fea, and half of them toward the hinder fea: in fummer and in winter shall it be.

9. And the Lord fhall be king over all the earth: in that day fhall there be one Lord, and his name one.

16. And it fhall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerufalem, ball even go up from year to year to worship the king the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17. And it fhall be, that whofo will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerufalem, to worship the king the Lord of hosts even upon them shall be no rain.

18. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain: there fhall be the plague wherewith the Lord will fmite the beathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19. This fhall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20. In that day fhall there be upon the bells of the horse, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the Lords houfe fhall be like the bowls before the altar.

21. Yea, every pot in Jerufalem and in Judahfhall be Holiness unto the Lord of hofts: and all they that facrifice, fhall come and.

Say then, hath God caft away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Ifraelite, of the feed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2. God hath not caft away his people which he foreknew. Wot Je not what the fcripture faith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Ifrael, saying,

3. Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they feek my life.

4. But what faith the answer of God unto him? I have referved to my felf feven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5. Even fo then at this prefent time alfo there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwife grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwife work is no more work

7. What then? Ifrael hath not obtained that which he feeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the reft were blinded:

8. According as it is written, God hath given them the Spirit of fumber, eyes that they should not fee, and ears that they should not bear, unto this day.

9. And David faith, let their table be made a fnare,and a trap, and a stumbling-block, and a recompence unto them.

10. Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not fee, and bow down their back alway.

11. Ifay then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid :but rather through their fall falvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousie.

12. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles: how much more their fulness?

13. For I speak unto you Gentiles, in as much as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnifie mine office :

14. If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might fave fome of them.

15. For if the cafting away of them be the reconciling of the world; what ball the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

16. For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is alfoholy: and if the root be holy, fo are the branches.

17. And if fome of the branches be broken off, and thou being a wild olive-tree, wert graffed in amongst them, and with them partakeft of the root and fatness of the olive-tree;

18. Boast not against the branches: but if thou boast, thou beareft not the root, but the root thee.

19. Thou wilt fay then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

20. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thom ftandeft by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear.

21. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed left he alfo fpare not thee.

22. Behold therefore the goodness, and severity of God: on them which fell, feverity; but towards thee, goodness, if thou continué in his goodness: otherwife thou alfofhalt be cut off.

23. And they also, if they bide not ftill in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

24. For if thou were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree; how much more fhall these which be the natural branches, be graffed

into their olive-tree?

25. For I would not, brethren that ye fhould be ignorant of this mystery (left ye should be wife in your own conceits) that blindness in part is happened to Ifrael, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come

in.

26. And fo all Ifrael shall be faved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the deliverer, andfball turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

27. For this is my covenant unto them, when I fhall take away their fins.

28. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your fake: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers Jakes.

29. For the gifts and calling of God are without repen

tance.

30. For as ye in times paft have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

31. Even fo have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

32. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might bave mercy upon all.

33. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unfearchable are his judgments, and his ways paft finding out?

34. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, or who hath been his counseller?

35. Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompenfed unto him again?

36. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
