Scotland.

9. In the application of this Act to Scotland the expression Application to 'Justice' shall include sheriff and sheriff-substitute, and the 38 and 39 Vict. expression local authority' shall mean any local authority c. 63. authorised to appoint a public analyst under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1875, and the procedure for the enforcement of this Act shall be in the manner provided in the thirty-third section of the said Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1875.

10. This Act may be cited as the Sale of Horseflesh, etc., Short title. Regulation Act, 1889.

11. This Act shall come into operation on the twenty-ninth Commenceday of September one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.
