23 And he faid unto them, Ye will furely fay unto me this proverb, Phyfician, heal thyfelf: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do alfo here in thy country.

14 And he faid, Verily I fay unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

25 But I tell you ofatruth, Many widows were in Ifrael in the days of Elias, when the heaven was thut up three years and fix months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

26Butuntonone ofthem was Elias fent, faveuntoSarepta,acityof Sidon unto a woman that was a widow.

27 And many lepers were in If. rael in the time of Elifeus the prophet; and none of them was cleanfed, faving Naaman the Syrian.

28 And all they in the fynagogue, when they heard there things, were filled with wrath,

29 And rofe up, and thruft him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their was built, that they might caft him down headlong

31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the fabbath day.

34 Saying, et us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jefus of Nazareth; art thouce me to deftroy us? I know thee who thou art; the holy One of God.

35 And Jefus rebuked hi ing, Hold thy peace, ant! come out of him. And, when the devil had thrown him in the midft, he came out of him and hurt him pot.

36 And they were all amazed, and fpake among themselves, fay ing, What a word is this !for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean fpirits, and they come out.

37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the couatry round about.

38 1 And he arose out of the fynagogue, and entered into Simon's houfe: and Simon's wife's mother, was taken with a great fever; and they befought him for her.

39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her And immediately the a arose, and ministered unto them.

40 40 Now, when the fun was fetting, all th y that had any fick with diverse diseases brought them unte him ; and be laid his hands on every one ofthem, and healed them.

41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and faying, Thou art Chrift, the Son of God. And he rebuked them, fuffering them not to fpeak: for they knew that he was Chrift,

42 And when it was day he depart ed, and went into a defert place; and the people fought him, ande me. unt him, and ftayed him, that he fhould not depart from them.

8 When Simon Peter faw it, he fell down at Jefus' knees, faying, Depart from me; for I am a finful man, O Lord.

For he was aftonifhed, and all that were with him, at the draught of the files which they had taken: so And fo was alfo James and John, the fons of Zebedee, which were partnera with Simon. And Jefus faid unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thon fhalt catch men. 11 And, when they had brought their ihips to land, they forfo all and followed him.

16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness and prayed.

17 And it came to pars on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharifces and doctora of the law fitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerufalem; and the power of the Lord was prefent to heal them.

18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a paliy: and they fought means to bring him in, and to lay him be

fore him.

19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in becaufe of the multitude, they went upon the houfe-top, and let him down through the tiling, with bis couch, into the midft before Jefus.

zo And, when he fav their faith, he faid unto him, Man,thy fins are forgiven thee.

21 And the scribes and the Pharifees began to reafon, faying, Who is this which speaketh blafphemies? Who can forgive fins but God alone?

29 And Levi made him a great feaft in his own houfe: and there was a great company of publicans, and of others, that fat down with them.

30 But their fcribes and Pharifees murmured againft his difciples, faying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and finners?

31 And Jefus anfwering, faid unto them, They that arc whole need not a phyfician; but they that are fick.

32 I came not to call the righteous, but finners, to repentance. 33 T And they faid unto him,
