Poland in the European Union, Adjustment and Modernisation: Lessons for Ukraine

Centre for Europe's academic staff together with colleagues form Ukraine's International Realtions Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of L'viv prepared a joint publication edited by dr Artur Adamczyk and dr Kamil Zajączkowski entitled "Poland in the European Union: Adjustment and Modernization. Lessons for Ukraine." It's main goal is to present the most important achievements and challenges of the process of European integration, to show how the accesion to the Europan Union has affected both Poles and Poland as an example and ecouragement for enhancing integration processes of Ukraine. Our publication discusses the role and position of Poland in the European Union. It analyses the effectiveness of Polish Europan policy and selected adjustment problems faced by Poland in the process of European integration. Foucs is also being placed on the position of Ukraine in the process of approximating to the European Union and the role of education on the European Union in Ukraine's education system.
